AMD's chip puts in a reasonable showing in the HandBrake video-encoding test. There's no contest when facing-up against quad-core Intel parts, but a return of nearly 40 frames per second is healthy when operating within a 45W TDP.

The CPU-orientated benchmarks thus far have shown that there isn't a great deal between the A10-7800 and A8-7600. LuxMark's OpenCL examination puts the GPU into the equation and creates a larger divide between the two chips: the A10's 512-core Radeon is obviously more powerful than the A8's 384.

The fully-fledged graphics component puts the 65W A10-7800 practically on par with A10-7850K in Musemage's GPU-accelerated imaging benchmark.
