Power, Temperature and Noise

PowerColor's 1,320MHz core speed is similar to what well-overclocked RX 480s were able to achieve. AMD has had to jack-up to voltage in order for these RX 580/570 cards to hit their intended frequencies and an inevitable consequence is much higher power consumption than rival GeForces.

Making matters worse, the Red Devil is certainly not quiet. The trio of fans spins at up to 2,200rpm, sacrificing noise for temperature. We normally see fans spin at no more than 1,500rpm at full chat. The trio switch off at low loads, however, which is a boon for those that like near-silent computing.
