Notes

As the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is the spiritual successor to the GTX 1060, we have rebenchmarked that card on the same driver as the review model.

Nvidia reckons that almost 70 per cent of gamers use a GeForce GTX 960 or slower GPU, hinting that GTX 1660 Ti makes for an opportune upgrade for, say, a four-year-old system.

We have therefore benchmarked a Palit GeForce GTX 960 Super JetStream card with the gaming suite of today. Sure, we don't expect it to hold a candle to any card in this line-up, especially at the stringent settings, yet it is instructive to see what a ($229, £175) card from 2015 can do against a ($279, £259) card today. One would expect the GTX 1660 Ti to obliterate it.
