Overclocking

The latest beta release of MSI Afterburner has greater success with its automated scanner. Putting our RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio through the test returned an adjusted core frequency curve and memory clocked at 19.9Gbps.

It is possible to eke out a little extra performance, but we're of the opinion that such small gains are hardly worth the effort and, on our sample, coil whine increased significantly with the overclock in place.
