Overclocking

The latest beta release of MSI Afterburner has greater success with its automated scanner. RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio came through the test with base and boost clocks automatically bumped to 1,564MHz and 1,894MHz, respectively, while memory is notched up to 14.4Gbps.

There's a little extra headroom for those who choose to use it, but no amount of overclocking is going to close the gap to those top-tier cards by a meaningful amount.
