Power, Temperature and Noise
Why is the power consumption second from highest? Logs reveal the card alone uses a peak 347.8W.
With that in mind, the cooler does a great job in keeping sub-70°C temperature on a hot day. Asus' design is robust and efficient.
But not the absolute quietest. Further examination of the logs reveals a peak fan speed of 2,060rpm. If it was us, we'd sacrifice 5-10°C of temperature for, say, 500 fewer rpm.
That said, the Asus card's Quiet Mode switch does exactly that, albeit at the expense of absolute in-game performance, which drops by around three per cent.
