The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.

Aliens vs. Predator has always run better on AMD hardware, with the HD 7970 comfortably beating out the GTX 680 and GTX 670. That said, the 'lesser' Kepler card gets remarkably close to its bigger brother, suggesting that the title is partial to memory bandwidth more than pure shading/texturing power and the GTX 670's GPU Boost is working more aggressively. For what it's worth, GTX 670 is about one-third faster than GTX 570.
