Crysis 2 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but with the DX11 patch and high-res textures, it's a gorgeous-looking game.

Average fps performance

There's an 86 per cent uplift over a single GTX 670 card's score. The Beast™ is faster, clearly, as its extra SMX's power begins to tell.

Per-second performance

This benchmarks runs through a preset scene as fast as possible. This is why the twin-GPUs finish the test almost twice as early as the single GTX 670 does. The per-second framerate indicates the twin GTX 670's performance doesn't drop below 30fps.

Zoom in closer and individual frames can take a while to be spat out. About a quarter of frames take longer than 33ms. The good news is that out of this quarter very few take longer than 40ms and super-slow frame latencies are hardly seen. The game feels smooth on two cards, certainly more than on one.
