Battlefield 3 is one of the most popular PC games of the year and features breathtaking visuals and an absorbing multiplayer component.
It's horses for courses and GPUs for titles. Battlefield 3 still runs smoother on a stock-clocked GTX 680, though the Radeon's performance at 2,560x1,600 is within 10 per cent of the numbers laid down by the green team.
