Already damn fast in most of the benchmarks, pushing the card even further provided decent frequency dividends. We increased the available board power to +20 per cent and increased GPU voltage to 1.20V.

Jumping up nicely to 1,080MHz core and 6,200MHz memory, which is faster than the frequencies for a HD 7970 GHz card, the extra oomph gives it the necessary impetus to jump to the top of the Far Cry 3 chart.
Bear in mind that system-wide power consumption increases to 553W and the noise to a risible 50.4 decibels.
