1080p - Total War: Rome II

Homepage: totalwar.com/en_gb/rome2 | Publisher: Sega | Developer: The Creative Assembly

Providing an excellent mix of strategy and action, Total War: Rome II's epic turn-based gameplay can swallow hours of your life.

Rome II, on the other hand, likes what Tonga offers. Bandwidth is less of a concern than lots of geometry, so whilst it is overclocked, the Sapphire card is the best.

High-ish average framerates, almost 80 per cent of frames within 17ms, and the 99th percentile frame taking just 25ms is another way of saying the Radeon R9 285 offers very good performance at 1080p and ultra-level settings.
