The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot has received critical acclaim and, with the aid of Crystal Dynamics' game engine, helps bring Lara Croft to life with stunning character models and believable worlds. We run a 60-second benchmark using the Ultra-quality preset.
The benchmark results are impressively consistent. Boost capabilities can often throw results out of kilter based on ambient conditions, but it seems the cool-running GTX 980 core has no problem hitting the desired speeds.
As expected, MSI's card slots straight in at number two and is snapping at the heels of the Gigabyte.
