Inno3D's factory overclock is useful, however we all know that the GTX 980 Ti can do more. In no time at all the iChill X3 was dialled in to base and boost frequencies of 1,260MHz and 1,349MHz, respectively, while memory didn't baulk at running at an effective 8,000MHz.
The overclock is enough to eke out another 10 per cent in terms of in-game performance at 4K.
