Putting the strain on these mid-to-high-end cards, we test with Ultra quality settings at FHD and QHD, and notch things down to Very High quality for 4K UHD.
The two liquid-cooled GTX 980 Tis remain closely matched in terms of out-the-box performance. Both can be considered overkill at 1080p and 1440p - it's only at 4K UHD resolutions that this amount of power really makes sense.
