Overclocking

There's a good chance EVGA is using its best GPUs for the FTW line, as our review sample shows decent overclocking potential. Without adding any additional voltage, we were quickly able to ramp-up core and boost frequencies to 1,737MHz and 1,927MHz, respectively, with memory operating at an effective 9,108MHz.

With the overclock in place our logs reveal that the FTW card was able to maintain a core frequency of 2,139MHz during the benchmarks. At these speeds, the EVGA gets mighty close to a stock GeForce GTX 1080.
