Rendered at a 2,560x1,440 QHD resolution and making use of DX12 technologies such as asynchronous compute, explicit multi-adapter and multi-threading, Time Spy is a forward-looking 3DMark benchmark that hints at GPU potential in various upcoming games.

We'd love to see a single-GPU Radeon presenting a challenge near the top of the Time Spy chart, but it's GeForce domination for the time being. EVGA's GTX 1070 FTW slots in, as expected, between the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 Founders Edition boards.

Taking a look at cooler performance, the Time Spy Stress Test shows that stability between runs is excellent. Digging into our log files reveals that core frequency levelled out to 1,974MHz and stayed there for the remainder of the test.
