Fallout 4

Homepage: fallout4.com | Publisher: Bethesda Softworks | Developer: Bethesda Game Studios

Introduced as the fifth major entry in the series, Fallout 4 takes place in post-apocalyptic Boston in the year 2287, 210 years after a Nuclear war. Not the most uplifting environment, but there are plenty of open environments to explore and the visuals, especially on PC, are at times dazzling.

There will be arguments whether 3GB is enough of a framebuffer for modern games. We've examined what happens at the 99th percentile and found that there's little (current) difference between how games engines run with either 3GB or 6GB. Of course, this depends upon game and settings, and one can always find outlier cases, but if you need the most cost-sensitive variant of a GPU, the 3GB/4GB duos are the ones to go for.
