Doom
Absurdly violent and increasingly gruesome at every turn. It's fast, it's frantic, it's Doom. A game that needs no introduction to PC enthusiasts, this 2016 reboot brings hell's evil forces to life with updated visuals and is without a doubt one of the most eagerly anticipated launches in years.
Doom, using the much talked about but rarely used Vulkan API, runs perfectly smooth even at maximum quality. The problem here is that the chart-topping Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ is in a different performance league entirely, yet going by current UK pricing doesn't cost a great deal more than the Gaming X.
