Peak brightness isn't great - and this can be an issue in sunny environments - but on the flip side black levels and contrast are both excellent. We did notice a bit of backlight bleed in the bottom corners, and we wish Asus offered a touchscreen as standard, but all things considered the standard 15.6in display does a decent enough job.
