All this talk of a new CPU could easily mask what makes the Aero 15X such a potent choice for gamers. Providing plenty of GPU grunt is a GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q that delivers excellent numbers for a relatively thin 15.6in laptop.
A laptop's GPU should be an ideal match for the display and Gigabyte judges it just right. GTX 1070 Max-Q works a treat at the native 1080p resolution, often delivering in excess of 60 frames per second. Dial-down the quality settings, or play older titles, and you'll take full advantage of the 144Hz refresh rate.
