Asus may have put plenty of effort into maintaining optimal CPU frequencies, but it has overlooked the memory subsystem. The default 16GB single-channel configuration of DDR4 memory stifles bandwidth by almost half, and though few are likely to notice the hit during everyday use, it is nonetheless an unnecessary oversight on a premium gaming laptop.
