Benchmarks: Vitals and Battery Life
The ultra-low CPU temperature and power consumption results reflect the throttling that is evident under load. ZenBook 3 Deluxe is being overly cautious with respect to core frequency; the chip could run at much higher speeds if Asus allowed for slightly warmer temperatures. On the plus side, fan noise isn't too bad, and there's a software toggle for 'Quiet Mode' that reduces noise further.
As for battery life, a 10-hour runtime isn't bad, but the goalposts have moved and anything less than 12 hours can now be deemed merely average. Worth noting, however, that Asus does use fast-charging technology, meaning battery life can be restored to 60 per cent in around 50 minutes.
