Performance has been capable in all departments thus far, but gaming is the G5 15's primary ambition. Testing a handful of modern titles at the native resolution reveals the Core i5 CPU and GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU to be an ideal pairing for the 1080p display. Games remain playable with quality settings cranked right up to the maximum, and though you may need to dial things down a touch to achieve the desired 60 frames per second, you won't struggle to keep things running smooth.
