Benchmarks: Display Brightness

Wide viewing angles, good colour accuracy, a matte finish and a swift 144Hz refresh rate are backed by deep blacks and an above-average contrast ratio. The only obvious black mark against this IPS panel is the brightness. 275 nits is ample for indoor visibility, mind, and gaming with G-Sync enabled is a highly enjoyable experience.

The question mark, we suppose, is whether or not gamers will deem 1080p sufficient? We reckon it's a sensible choice on a screen of this size, but given the capabilities of the GTX 1080 GPU, might you have preferred a 1440p panel as standard? Answers on a postcard, please.
