Looking specifically at the GTX 1050 Max-Q GPU, playing a handful of recent games at the laptop's native 1080p resolution confirms that this is a very basic solution. We're looking for over 60 frames per second as the ideal scenario, but only three of the five games are able to meet that target, and even then, we're forced to reduce quality settings to low or minimum.
The ZenBook 15 UX533FD is fine for casual gaming, but don't expect much more than that.
