Here's where the Blade 15's slightly thicker chassis proves its worth. Combined with what seems a better balanced fan profile, our 2019 review sample runs noticeably cooler and quieter than its predecessor. The laptop is barely audible when idle, and though the fans are clearly noticeable when gaming, they aren't annoyingly loud. A definite improvement, however the chassis does still get quite toasty to the touch, with the area just above the F6 and F7 keys warming to just over 50 degrees after a stint of gaming.
