A peak frequency of 4.6GHz on the quad-core Intel Core i7-8565U helps propel the ZenBook 14 to the top of the PiFast and Cinebench charts. The laptop does a good job of maintaining high frequencies for reasonable periods of time, and though the Asus machine did eventually throttle during the Handbrake test, overall CPU performance is excellent.
