There's a snag in that the 8GB of DDR4 memory is served in a single-channel configuration, effectively cutting memory bandwidth in half. Readers should also note that while the laptop's bottom panel is easily removed via a series of Torx screws, there is only one internal SO-DIMM slot, so while memory capacity can be upgraded, the single-channel limitation will remain.
