Brightness is recorded just shy of the quoted 1,000-nit specification, yet it isn't blinding during actual use, presumably as a result of the Sure View coating. Viewing angles, as stated earlier in the review, do leave room for improvement yet brightness is such that visibility poses no problem even in bright outdoor conditions.
