As expected, the use of an HS processor pushes power consumption up by 15W compared to other ultraportables. Asus actually does a good job in keeping thermals and noise at reasonable levels, given the chassis limitations, but that touchscreen UHD+ display hurts battery life. Still, nearly seven hours isn't bad considering it has to power the HS chip, display and push some power towards the GTX GPU.
