A few observations. As far as quad-core processors go, Asus's implementation of the 4.8GHz Core i7-11370H works well. The 11th Gen architecture shows its strengths in the single-threaded tests, and when the going gets tough, the 35W chip is able to maintain high frequencies.
Our logs reveal that speeds in excess of 4GHz were maintained throughout almost the entire Blender benchmark, and multi-threaded performance is reflective of the price tag. Those who favour the extra potential of an octo-core 45W Intel laptop will typically need to raise the budget to £1,500+.
