Attaching the laptop to an external monitor via HDMI can shift the onus from CPU to GPU at higher resolutions. At 1440p the Asus TUF Dash F15 begins to use its Ampere muscle to claw its way up the charts, but falls short of the 60fps target in Civilisation VI, and doesn't have the feel of a system that's well-prepared for more demanding titles on the horizon.
