Laptop displays have really come on in recent years, so much so that the 15.6in panel employed by the MSI GF65 Thin feels really quite ordinary by today's standards. Colour coverage and accuracy is below our preferred targets, and limited brightness results in average contrast.
The display lacks vibrancy and the 1080p resolution isn't the sharpest, yet wide viewing angles, a matte finish and a 144Hz refresh rate probably do enough to keep the casual gamer satisfied.
