Given that the Cyberpower Tracer III Evo is the only sub-£1,000 laptop in our charts, the typically bottom-place results are to be expected. Putting the synthetic numbers into context, the laptop feels fast and responsive during regular use, and the six CPU cores don't get bogged down with multitasking.

RTX 2060 also puts in a decent 3DMark score, though spending an extra 10 per cent for the RTX 3060-based MSI GF65 Thin does open the door to almost a 20 per cent increase in graphics performance.
