Benchmarks: Temperature

Keeping a Core i7 CPU and GTX 970M GPU cool in a 19.9mm-thick chassis isn't easy, but MSI has managed to do it. The laptop does become warm to the touch during full load, but neither processor throttled during our benchmarks, and the under-load readings are comfortably within the limits.

There is a catch, though. While temperatures are healthy, they are made possible by fast-spinning internal fans that can become quite boisterous. They spin-up quick and often, and though they're unlikely to deter headphone-wearing gamers, the fans might be deemed too noisy for casual users.
