CPU performance, as expected, hasn't changed. The new SC17 makes use of the same Core i7-6820HK processor, making it a potent choice for single- or multi-threaded workloads. And if you need more oomph, it's worth noting that applying the 'SuperClock' resulted in best-in-class scores of 16.2 in PiFast and 835 in Cinebench.
