Mandating an all-core overclocked speed is both a minor blessing and curse. All-core speeds are bumped up by around five per cent, but single-thread performance drops because the chip is no longer able to hit a higher single-core turbo speed.
Compared to an Intel platform costing roughly the same, performance is clearly better in heavy-load situations but not as sharp for light-load apps.
