ScienceMark 2.0, Pifast

The i945G chipset, according to ScienceMark 2.0 and will all memory-related timings set identically, benchmarks at around 80MB/s behind an i955XE and 150MB/s behind an nForce4 SLI I.E.

Latency is around 8ns higher than on an i955XE. That's down to a lack of Intel Memory Pipeline Technology on the i945G chipset. The RADEON XPRESS 200 is woefully behind in this test.

Latency and bandwidth combine to push the i945G's Pifast time around 0.4s behind that of the i955X Express chipset. It's actually remarkably good performance for what Intel tells you is a largely inferior performance chipset.
