Temperature Tests
It is reasonable to wonder how a Mini-ITX board copes with cooling in such a space-restrained environment.
Pretty well, actually, helped on by having lower total power consumption than the other two Z490 boards. Remember that fan integrated into the I/O shroud? It's on by default but you can barely hear it. Turning it off via BIOS does increase the MOS temp a bit, to 65°C, yet that's low enough not to worry about. We'd only consider having it active if overclocking.
