There's little in the way of faff when setting up AMD boards because there are no PL1 and PL2 power targets to worry about.
The end result is predictable performance as benchmark numbers are dependent upon the chip's package power tracking (PPT) more than any other factor.
MSI's board interprets a Ryzen 9 5950X correctly and pushes out numbers consistent with well-tuned B550 and X570 models.
