The NVIDIA chipset has the beating of Intel's alternative when it comes to memory bandwidth and latency, but to our surprise, the newly-revised nForce 790i SLI FTW is bettered by its predecessor, the nForce 790i Ultra SLI.

There's little in it when comparing the HEXUS.PiFast calculation to 10M places but it's worth noting that EVGA's new board comes out in last place. Not the start we were expecting.
