Bundle and extras

The board's features are listed on the back. Pertinent here is ASUS' Express Gate software, which is a Linux shell that supports common PC applications such as web-browsing, Skype, IM, and basic gaming. What's good is that it cold-boots up in a few seconds for near-instant access.

ASUS also has its EPU technology rolled in to the board. The aim is to reduce power consumption by monitoring load.

Lots and lots of features but the bundle is rather basic. The SATA cables, however, of the latching type, and we wish all manufacturers would supply these as standard.
