There's nothing to separate our trio of platforms in terms of memory latency.

Not a lot in it in terms of bandwidth, either. Using dual-channel DDR3 memory, all three platforms impress by providing over 10GB/s. The figures would only rise with the use of quicker DDR3 modules.

Our HEXUS.PiFast benchmark takes a look at single-thread floating-point performance. The four cores of AMD's quick 3.4GHz Phenom II processor aren't of use here, but Intel's Turbo Boost - raising the Core i5 661's single-core speed up to 3.6GHz - comes into play and gives it the edge.
