We feel confident in stating that a well-engineered X58 board from one company is very much like another's when comparing performance. The differentiation will rest with how you view the layout, features, and price.

Overclocking

How about overclocking? Using our in-house procedure of reducing the multiplier to 12x, DRAM frequency to 800MHz, and adding 10 per cent to various voltage lines, we managed to hit a solid 210MHz BCLK. Anything over 200MHz can be considered good.
