CPU-related benchmarks

We've been using PiFast for the best part of a decade, and it is still going strong! The Core i5 2500K is fundamentally quicker than AMD's Thuban here.

Three Gigabyte boards in our line-up don't produce identical results, even though the BIOS memory timings are, as far as we can tell, the same. Whatever the case, the 'D3 is a solid performer.

And you can throw a blanket over the Intel results in the all-core CINEBENCH test.

The Z68AP-D3 is the slowest of the bunch in the encryption/decryption test, but not so as you'd notice.

And the last CPU-centric test shows that a well-configured Z68 board is as good as another, irrespective of price.
