Benchmarks III

On to UT2003 demo's inbuilt benchmark. It covers 2 flybys and 2 bot matches. An average is taken for each section. Run at 800x600 to minimise the effects of a graphics card bottleneck. First the flyby average.

And now the bot matches, at 800x600 again.

The gaps between the nForce2 motherboards when run in dual-channel mode and the KT400 are small but consistent. Let's wrap up the benchmarking with a visit to Quake 3 v1.30 Fastest. Pure bandwidth is highlighted here.

The EpoX 8RDA+ has consistently held its own against the ABIT NF7-S. That's not all that surprising, though, as both are running the CPU and memory at the same settings and timings. It's stable, fast, and relatively cheap.
