Graphical Benchmarks - I

Let's start of with, yes, you guessed it, 3DMark 2001SE v330 from the lovely nordic hackers at FutureMark. What we're basically looking for in every single benchmark is for each KT400A board to benchmark close to its other siblings, we're not really worried what order the numbers stack up, just that things are close. Then we are looking to see how close they get to the current AMD performance leader, nForce2, in the form of ASUS' mighty A7N8X Deluxe 2.0.

Here goes.

Did what we predict come true? Why yes. As far as the full featured boards being better performance wise than their bare featured comrades, that's not the case here. If we have to pick a winner out of the KT400A boards, the DFI is it. Don't expect it to win everything however. nForce2 is simply a notch quicker in this test, pure and simple. Let's try again with Serious Sam 2.

A win for nForce2 with the Jetway bringing home the KT400A bacon. But they're all close up. What's interesting is that there's not much of a performance drop off on the KT400A boards, compared to nForce2. It's pretty competitive and that's what we like to see.

A new page, a new pair of tests.
