3D System Tests II

At 122fps, the AN7 is a couple of frames per second higher than recent 800x600 testing on the DFI. Swapping to the 2.43 nForce2 Platform Driver dropped the two frames per second highlighting the performance differences you can gain from upgrading drivers. It's not clear if the 3.13 set changed the AGP driver in any way, but it seems certain that AN7 gets a couple of free frames per second from the new driver set, for whatever reason.

Comanche 4 has the odd distinction of running slightly quicker with NVIDIA's graphics card than with 9800XT, overestimating its performance by a couple of frames per second, compared to the systems tested with 9800XT. Athlon 64 and Pentium 4 are both able to open up sizable performance gaps on the Athlon XP setup, although AN7 is very competitive with the recently tested DFI.

Serious Sam 2 to round off our benchmark results.

Close performance to the P4 setup from the AN7, it would run ~180fps with 9800XT so we again overestimate performance compared to the comparison system, due to the graphics card choice. Again, competitive to recent testing with the DFI, AN7 has performance that matches its recent peers.
