Gaming performance

Due to the multi-GPU setups available on the motherboards, both nForce 680i SLIs are run with GeForce 7900 GTX card(s) and the Foxconn and MSI with ATI's X1900 XTX

What's apparent is that the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor is the differentiating factor when the games are run at low resolutions, making the tests system bound in nature.

Now, adding in multi-GPU support by the introduction of an SLI/CrossFire-forming card, and we see that the performances differences are ironed out. CrossFired X1900 XTX cards are faster than SLI'd GeForce 7900 GTX in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
