Graphical Tests

The graphical tests pit the AA8 against the D925XCV using NVIDIA's PCI Express 6800 GT reference board. Two 3DMark tests and Painkiller round things out.

3DMark2001 SE

The AA8 ends up 800 marks down on the XCV, the Intel board doing quite a bit better. Given that 3DMark 2001SE is sensitive to memory bandwidth, the AA8's measure deficit there is likely the reason why.

3DMark03

Again, the AA8 is behind, but this time by a very small margin. There's nothing to split the two when it's intrinsically graphics card limited.

Painkiller

There's less than 1% of difference here with the AA8 the victor. It's nice to see the PCI Express interface on the AA8 performing as it apparently should, using Intel's own reference mainboard as a base.
